Programs and Events

Chamber events are planned and scheduled around our philosophy to Inform, Assist & Support the membership of the Gates Chili Chamber of Commerce. Holding well organized and meaningful events, while providing great networking opportunities, supports the Chamber’s members to help sustain, develop, and grow their businesses.

Networking:

Get your name and your business out there by participating in our events! They provide excellent opportunities to meet fellow members, exchange business referrals, and make valuable business contacts. Events:

Members can attend a variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner events with guest speakers addressing topics of interest to its member businesses. Ribbon Cuttings, Friday Morning Mingle, Groundbreakings and Open Houses celebrate our business partners. Our annual Golf Tournament at Brook Lea Country Club and Community Awards Dinner Gala are the highlights of the year. Online reservations make it easy to sign up to attend and pay for Chamber events. Recognition:

The Annual Springtime Community Awards Dinner Gala recognizes worthy individuals, community groups, and businesses for their commitment to improving the Gates and Chili communities for the following:  Beautification (both Gates & Chili), Outstanding Citizen, Culture & Arts, Youth Leadership, Dream Big, Economic Development, and New Commerce. The Young Professionals Award is given to an “emerging leader”. The Loretta Simmons Women’s Leadership Award is named after one of the founding members of the Chamber. Nominations are accepted from the entire community. We also award a “Business in the Spotlight” quarterly to member businesses. Nomination and registration forms are available on the Chamber website.

Promotional Advertising and Sponsorship: 

Chamber membership provides many ways for you to advertise your business and its services. Members are listed on our website with links to your business website. Our Shop Local program offers another location for your business to be listed on its own website page. Advertising is available in the Awards Dinner Gala, Golf Tournament program books, and Business Directory. Event sponsorships are also available.
